HYDERABAD, Dec 22: The Sindh High Court, Hyderabad circuit bench, on Monday issued notices to the secretary, local government department, district Nazim, DCO, and the taluka municipal officer.
The notices were issued in a constitutional petition, filed by former sanitary worker Shahzad, seeking benefits of his retirement.
Mr Shahzad, who retired on May 15, 2002, stated in his petition that he was not paid his pension and other dues despite his requests to the respondents.
He said he had also complained to the ombudsman but to no avail.
He prayed the court to ensure that he was paid his dues.
Notices issued: The Sindh High Court, Hyderabad circuit bench, on Monday issued notices to the SHO, Dadu police station, ASI Qurban Ali, Qurban Ali Khushik and Abdul Razzaq Shah in a petition alleging police harassment.
Naserullah had filed the petition, saying respondent Shah had to pay his money but when he repeatedly approached him for the payment he got furious.
He said he was supported by respondent policemen.
He said the respondent policemen took him into custody and kept him in wrongful detention for some time.
