Work on gas supply scheme begins

TAXILA, Dec 21: Pakistan Muslim League-Q MNA Ghulam Sarwar Khan has said that Rs7.5 million would be spent on provision of gas to Lub Union Council.

He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the gas supply scheme to the union council at Wah Cantonment.

He said the government was implementing programmes for the socio-economic uplift of the masses.

Mr Sarwar said the Punjab government was utilizing its resources in the rural and urban areas without any prejudice.

He asked the opposition members of the Parliament to change their attitude in the interest of the people.

SURPRISE VISIT: District Nazim Raja Tariq Kiani paid a surprise visit to Police Station Taxila.

He said police should adopt people-friendly attitude so that the citizens could trust them.

However, he expressed satisfaction over the performance and condition of the Taxila Police Station.
