Goodwill message sent to Vajpayee

ISLAMABAD, Dec 21: Pakistan High Commissioner to India Aziz Ahmad Khan said on Sunday that a message of goodwill was conveyed to Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on behalf of President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Jamali.

Talking to Pakistan Television about his meeting with the Indian prime minister, Mr Aziz said it was a courtesy call and matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.

He said the Indian prime minister was told that the Pakistani government was waiting for his participation in the coming Saarc summit. —APP
