NAWABSHAH, Dec 21: Two motorcyclists were killed when they were hit by a speedy bus near Sakrand bypass late on Saturday night.
Two brothers, Gulab (25) and Wahid Bukhsh (21), sons of Lakha Dino Jatoi, were killed on the spot when their motorcycle was hit by the bus (PO-644).
The two brothers were going to their village Thanwar Keerio after closing their vegetable shop.
The driver and cleaner of the bus left the vehicle and fled. No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.
ZAKAT FUNDS: The secretary of Ushr and Zakat distributed Zakat cheques among Mustahqueen in different areas of the district on Saturday.
At least 950 cheques of Rs10,000 and Rs20,000 each were distributed among them under the special rehabilitation package.
