LAHORE, Dec 19: Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi has said the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal has been allowed to hold rallies but they will not be allowed to disturb law and order.
Talking to newsmen on Friday, he said the MMA public meetings posed no problem to the government, which had itself allowed them to hold the meetings at places specified for this purpose in every district. They would not be allowed to hold meetings at places other than the specified ones.
He said the government-MMA talks were proceeding in the right direction on constitutional issues and he was hopeful of an agreement with the MMA leadership.— Reporter
