PESHAWAR: Inquiry into custodial death begins

PESHAWAR, Dec 18: A judicial magistrate on Thursday started inquiry into the death of an accused in police custody and ordered the postmortem of the deceased.

Magistrate Wajid Ali Khan started the inquiry under Section 174 of  the Criminal Procedure Code. He summoned the investigation officer concerned and moharar of the Hashtnagri police station and directed the SHO that they should appear on Friday with the relevant record.
