SUKKUR, Dec 18: A man and a woman were killed on the pretext of Karo-kari in Pehlwan Pitafi village near Mirpur Mathelo on Wednesday.
Pehlwan killed Mumtaz, son of Makhan Pitafi, when the latter was on his way to home.
Then Pehlwan strangulat-ed his wife, Hooran, 28, to death.
Both the bodies were buried at some undisclosed place.
Later on receiving information, the Yaroo Lund police exhumed the body of Mumtaz and, after postmortem, handed it over to the relatives of the killed villager.
Mir Zaman Pitafi, the brother of Hooran, has lodged an FIR against six people including Pehlwan, Qaim and Jummo.
