KOHAT, Jan 1: The recent and earlier video films of Osama bin Laden, released by the Al Jazeera TV channel, have been made available in the market with Urdu dubbing by an organization.

The cassettes, available at select video centres, are in great demand among the people. They were being rented for Rs100 per night and sold for Rs300, Dawn survey revealed on Monday.

The general impression of the people about the Osama’s speeches was that the films were genuine and the Al Qaeda leader was alive.

The people, however, showed mixed response about the remarks made by Osama in the films against the United States and describing the Sept 11 attacks as victory for Muslims.

Some of them were critical of the comments and thought that Osama had only maligned Islam and brought misery and trouble for the Muslim world.
