Pakistan has produced great sportsmen

KARACHI, Dec 17: Indian snooker coach, Michael Ferreira. on Wednesday said that Pakistan has produced great sportsmen.

“Pakistan over the years has has produced a number of great sportsmen namely Jahangir Khan, Jansher Khan, Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar, Islahuddin, and Samiullah and also tigers like Saleh Muhammad in snooker.

Talking to newsmen, the 67-year-old Ferreira, who helped Indian teenager Pankaj Advani to beat Pakistan’s Saleh Muhammad in the final of World Snooker Championship in China in October this year, was all praise for Pakistan Billiards & Snooker Association (PBSA) for their role in promoting snooker.—APP
