RAWALPINDI, Dec 16: The Punjab chief minister, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, here on Tuesday urged the parliamentarians to collaborate with the district governments for the betterment of common man.

Talking to the PML-Q members of national and provincial assemblies, he said, this was important for the execution of development schemes and dispensation of justice.

Mr Elahi said the PML reorganization was being attached great significance by his government for incorporating public participation in state affairs.

He told the PML leaders that representation of all segments of the society should be ensured during party’s reorganisation throughout the province. This, he said, was particularly important because the PML is a symbol of solidarity and unity of all the four provinces of the country. He said a comprehensive strategy was being followed to make the reorganization process effective.
