PESHAWAR, Jan 1: Faqir Hussain Sahir took over as the station director of the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, Peshawar, on Tuesday.

Earlier, Nisar Muhammad Khan relinquished the charge of the post after attaining the age of superannuation.

Mr Sahir is a well-known writer and broadcaster.—APP
