LAHORE, Dec 15: District Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood on Monday set fire to over 5,000 computer discs containing obscene material on the Hall Road.

The Nazim was all praise for the Hall Road traders for presenting the CDs containing pornographic material for destruction voluntarily.

He said the government was determined to eradicate obscenity from the show business.

Inaugurating the campaign for inscription of public service messages on buses later, the Nazim said 200 buses plying in the city would be used for the propagation of messages.

He said the Worldwide Fund for Nature and Asia Foundation were cooperating in inscription of messages for environment protection, good governance and rights of the children and women by National College of Arts students.
