NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Dec 15: Sindh Chief Minister Ali Muhammad Mahar has said that Sindh has pleaded its strong case to the federal government in respect of National Financial Commission (NFC) award.
He said that he was working for the development and betterment of Sindh and its people.
He was talking to newsmen at the residence of Mr Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi after condoling with him on the death of his wife and mother of District Nazim, in New Jatoi, here on Monday.
He said that ban on recruitments has been removed and all appointments would be made on merit.
He said that all the MPAs were with him and he was also cooperating with the opposition members because he wanted speedy and transparent development in the province.
He said that President General Pervez Musharraf has honoured him by visiting his village.
Former President of Pakistan, Farooq Khan Leghari, former information minister Javed Jabbar, Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, Nadir Akmal, Shahnawaz Junejo, AIG Rahu Khan Brohi, DIG Sukkur, Muhammad Ramzan Channa, DPO Muhammad Khan Khoso and others were also present on the occasion and offered condolences to Mr Jatoi.
