SWABI: WB earmarks $40m for 61 tehsils

SWABI, Dec 14: The World Bank has sanctioned $40 million for development projects in 61 tehsil municipal administrations (TMAs) of the NWFP, Swabi tehsil Nazim Masood Jabbar told Dawn here on Sunday.

The money, he said, would be spent on water supply schemes, sanitation, sewerage and other projects keeping in view need of the people.

Mr Jabbar said nine TMAs, including Swabi, had been selected by the donor for the first phase of the programme.
