NEW YORK: The Muslim vote in the US election, particularly in the battleground state of Florida, could tilt election in favour of Hillary Clinton, reports suggest.
According to the US Council of Muslim Organisation over one million American Muslims have registered to vote in the Nov 8 elections, a record number that puts the community in a position to tip the race in states where they live in large numbers as polls show a tightening contest, Muslim advocates said.
Pakistani registered voters in the past overwhelmingly supported the Republican Party because it was perceived as being pro-Pakistan when it came to American aid to country.

@American Raja It is false. Indians and Pakistanis or many of the new immigrants except Chinese( Nobody knows whom they vote for since they are secretive by birth) always vote for Democrats. It is noted that Indians vote democrats 85-15 proportion. So is the case with Pakistanis. However in this election Many Indians(20-30%) will change their vote to Republicans. Pakistanis may vote overhelmingly for Democrats as usual.

I will tell you a bitter truth which you cannot digest and the truth is those muslims who are US residents dont want outside muslims to enter US. They fear if extremists enter US and commit crime innocent muslims will have to bear the brunt. They are staying peacefully together without any religion boundary. Ask anyone to come back to Pakistan and see their answer. So you understand who they are going to be vote.

In Sri Lanka too Minorities Muslims and Hindu Tamil votes unseated Mr. Mahinda Rajapakse for fanning communalism before the presidential election in 2015. There is no doubt Mrs. Clinton will assume office .
