PIA-KRL tie shifted to UBL Complex

KARACHI, Dec 12: The Patron’s Cup and Patron’s cricket Trophy match between PIA and KRL starting from Dec 14 has been shifted to UBL Sports Complex from Quaid-i-Azam Cricket Park ground Pakistan Steel Township.

The match has been shifted on the request of two teams because of of traffic jams at Quaidabad intersection, a spokesman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Monday.

The match, however, will be umpired by Iftikhar Malik and Islam Khan while Haris Khan will be the Match Referee and Nauman Nazir will be the official, he added.

In the meantime Bangladesh “A” cricket team which arrived here on Thursday will play their opening match against newcomer PTCL at National Stadium Karachi.

Two teams will first play one-day Patrons Cup match followed by four Patrons Trophy tie.—APP
