GWADAR: A human rights activist and prominent lawyer of Makran who had been missing for about three years has returned his home in Turbat.

Advocate Haider went missing on Nov 27, 2013, when he was returning his home in Kosh Kalat area of Turbat after attending district court proceedings.

Family sources of the young lawyer have confirmed that he returned his home late on on Saturday night.

After Advocate Haider’s disappearance, human rights organisations and political activists had claimed that security agencies had taken him into custody. The family of the human rights activist is very happy on his return.

Advocate Haider is an active member of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP). He is also a member of Kech Bar Association and heads the legal committee of the HRCP in Kech. He runs a private language learning centre in Turbat.
