KARACHI, Dec 11: The University of Karachi on Thursday announced results of BSc Home Economics (Second year), annual examinations-2003, with a pass percentage of 70.53.

As many as 448 candidates belonging to Ra’ana Liaquat Ali Khan Government College of Home Economics appeared in examination, out of which 316 were declared passed. Only 33 were placed in first division, while results of three candidates were withheld for not paying fine.

According to a KU notification, Sara Sakhia d/o Altaf Sakhia, seat no 6115, clinched first position by securing 1,047 marks out of total 1,500. The second and third positions went to Hina Anwer Hussain, d/o Anwer Hussain, seat no 6071, and Sana Moin Ahmed, d/o Moin Ahmed, seat no 6037, respectively.
