KARACHI, Dec 11: Three ships carrying containers and oils are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Nord Beach, Hyundai Future to unload and load containers, Johar to offload crude oil, Jo Sycamore, to unload palm oil and Bow Herson to offload chemicals were berthed after the departure of six.

The ships, which departed included APL Jakarta, Beliz Urkmex, Pigi, Keefan, Torm Ingeburg and Radwan, while Kota Wajaya, Norasia Punjab, Corin Thaikos, and Bow Hermon are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side thanks to larger handling of the liquid tonnage, totalling 80,642 tons, including 17,468 tons of export cargo and 63,174 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Friday: Georges Nikolas, with oil, Kota Tegap and Wan Hai-303, with containers.
