HYDERABAD: Engine and six bogies of a Multan-bound goods train loaded with phosphate derailed at Bolhari railway station on Monday morning. No casualty was reported but the accident badly damaged the tracks and affected flow of rail traffic.

The railway authorities sent labourers to the site to repair the tracks and put the bogies back on track.

The work led to closure of up track and till 9.00pm the upcountry track was not cleared for traffic and the trains leaving for and coming from Punjab were using down track as repair work was still in progress, according to Karachi office of chief controller of railway.
