HYDERABAD, Dec 9: The registrar, University of Sindh, on Tuesday extended the last date up to Dec 31 for admissions in BA, BSc, BCom, BSW and BSc (Home Economics) Part-I classes for session 2003-2004 in colleges affiliated with the university.
He advised the colleges to send complete lists of candidates enrolled with them latest by Jan 31, 2004.
PSC: The director, Pakistan Study Centre, University of Sindh, has extended the last date of admission in MA (Pakistan Studies) previous for the session 2004 up to Dec 23.
He said that written test and interview would also be held on the last date and added that application forms could be obtained by depositing the prescribed fee of Rs150 and advised the candidates to bring along their original documents.
MERIT LIST: University of Sindh has announced the third provisional merit list of candidates for admissions in Masters classes, including MCS for the session 2004.
The same has also been displayed on notice boards of the Sindh University Model School, Hyderabad, and the Directorate of Admissions, Jamshoro.
Last date for filing objections against any admission has been fixed as Dec 10.
LUMHS: The registrar, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences has announced that winter vacation for students of the university would be from Dec 11 to Dec 31.
He, however, said that all undergraduate and postgraduate examinations would continue as per schedule.
The university registrar has announced that the third General Basic Medical Sciences course for FCPS Part-I candidates would be from Dec 29 to Feb 4, 2004, at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, Karachi.
He said that the course fee had been fixed at Rs4,000 whereas the last date for submission of applications was Dec 23 and added that application forms were available at the office of the RTMC, CPSP.
He further said that candidates could contact the director (Operation), CPSP, for hostel accommodation.
