DERA GHAZI KHAN: Two women were severely injured in separate incidents on Saturday.

Both of the women were shifted to the trauma centre of the Ghazi Khan Medical College Teaching Hospital.

One Faraz subjected his wife, Esha, to severe torture and broke the bones of her arms and legs over not putting his mobile phone on charging.

Faraz thrashed his wife while her brothers and neighbours rescued her.

Gaddai police have registered the complaint of Esha.

In the second incident, Allah Diwaya of Pir Adil attacked his daughter, Afeefa, with an axe on her refusal to accept a marriage proposal.

She was shifted to the trauma centre in a critical condition.

Her brother Allah Wasaya told Dawn his father had tried to kill Afeefa with an axe.

Saddar Din police registered a case against Allah Diwaya.
