PESHAWAR, Dec 31: The NWFP minister for information, Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani, has congratulated Intikhab Amir, the new president of Peshawar Press Club, and other office-holders on their success in the recently-held election.

In a message here on Monday, the minister admired the Peshawar Press Club’s democratic tradition of holding peaceful and on-time elections.

He expressed the hope that the new officers would secure the sanctity of their profession and work for betterment of the journalist community and the masses.
