Growers protest against Hesco

KHAIRPUR, Dec 5: The growers of Nara Taluka held a demonstration at the Naro Gate and a sit-in on a section of the Tajal-Chondiko road in protest against Hesco officials for the second consecutive day on Friday.

Talking to newsmen, their leaders said that they were unable to cultivate wheat crops because the Hesco officials cut off the power supply to their tube-wells daily for about 10 hours.

PROTEST: The residents of the Tando Mir Ali village held a demonstration outside the Thari Mirwah Press Club for the second consecutive day on Friday to protest against Hesco officials for resorting to load-shedding and issuing inflated bills.

ACCIDENT: At least 15 people, including four women, were injured when a wagon collided head-on with a tractor near Thari Mirwah on Thursday.

Some of those who were injured included the in charge, Deparja police post, Mohammad Ali Shar; Mumtaz Ali, Khan Mohammad Khan, Irshad Ali, Abdullah, and Nabi Bux. All the women remained unidentified.
