NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Dec 4: A large number of Hesco employees under the banner of Pakistan Wapda Hydro-Electric Central Labour Union staged a protest sit-in on Thursday outside the executive engineer’s office against the dismissal of three employees.

The protesters demanded that the line superintendent of Mehrabpur, Munawar Memon, metre reader Saleem Ahmed and lineman Shamsuddin Jalbani of Hesco Padidan sub-division should be reinstated.

They said line superintendent Munawar Memon was dismissed from the service as a result of hard talk with the SDO of Mehrabpur.

They claimed that it was due to misunderstanding and added that removal from the service of the line superintendent was unjustified.

They said it was not a punishment to an employee but to his entire family.

They demanded that The Wapda chairman should intervene in the matter and reinstate the dismissed employees.
