KARACHI: Rickshaw owners warned

KARACHI, Dec 4: The DIG traffic police on Thursday warned the auto-rickshaw operators to get noisy silencers replaced within the next two days, or their vehicles would be impounded in a drive.

The DIG said that so far 15,000 silencers had been installed in auto-rickshaws but it was observed that after receiving fitness certificates the approved silencers were again replaced with the noisy ones.—PPI
