LAHORE: Irfan Saeed and Palwasha Bashir won singles finals to clinch the All-Pakistan National Ranking Badminton Tournament here on Saturday.

Irfan dominating the show with his powerful smashing and fine serves in the all-Wapda men’s singles final to wrapp it up 21-14, 21-15.

National champion Palwasha also proved too good for Sehra Akram to finish the final in just 25 minutes with the score being in her favour 21-12, 21-5.

Irfan along with Azeem Sarwar (Wapda) won another title when they defeated the pair of Kashif Sulhari (NBP) and Kashif Majeed 21-14, 22-20 in men’s doubles final.

Palwasha (NBP) and Saima Waqas (Wapda) defeated the pair of Khizra Rasheed and Sidra Hamid (Wapda) to clinch the women’s doubles final 21-10, 21-07.
