KARACHI, Dec 2: Six ships carrying palm oil, soyabean meal and to load rice are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Gao He, Med Keelung and Bunga Delima to unload and load containers, Banglar Mamata, to offload raw jute and Makran to offload general cargo were berthed after the departure of seven.

The departing ships, were led by Kota Teraju, Med Keelung, Gao He, Prince, Sea Mild, Naga and Johar, while Ocean Sunrise, Iris, Al-Mariyah, Bunga Delima and Pacific Ocean are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total tonnage of 52,475 tons comprising 4,763 tons of export cargo and 47,712 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Jaipur to load 5,500 tons of rice, Heno Shan Minh, with general cargo, Badulu Valley, with 3,090 tons of soyabean meal, Emblem, with 10,000 tons of palm oil, Commo-Jc-Jimenez, with 65,000 tons of crude oil and Hyundai Advance, with containers.
