KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh have conducted targeted raids in different parts of the metropolis and arrested five suspects.

The paramilitary force carried out raids in Clifton, Liaquatabad and Orangi Town, a Rangers spokesperson said.

During these raids, three suspects were arrested.

Among them, one was affiliated with a banned outfit and another was ‘weapon handler’ allegedly belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s ‘terrorist wing’ and one was ‘bhatta-collector’, the Rangers spokesperson added.

Arms and ammunition were also seized from their possession.

Separately, during snap checking in Baldia and Model Colony, the Rangers apprehended two suspects and recovered weapons from their possession.
