HYDERABAD, Nov 30: Two men died under mysterious circumstances here on Saturday.

According to Latifabad B-section police station SHO Amir Jafri, he was informed by the medico-legal officer of the Hyderabad Civil Hospital that a man, Mehtab Jafri, son of Mukhtiar Jafri, had committed suicide by taking kerosene oil and he needed a medical letter from him. The MLO said the man was brought from Sultan Shah Colony, Latifabad-9.

The SHO however did not issue the letter on the ground that it could not be verified whether Mr Mehtab was a resident of Latifabad.

The body was handed over to the relatives who did not insist on postmortem.

The doctor said Mehtab was first admitted to the hospital in the morning and when his condition improved he was discharged. Later, he was again brought to the hospital and then he died.

A resident of Karachi, Abid Jafri, son of Mukhtiar Jafri, was also brought to the Bhitai Hospital on Saturday evening in unconscious condition and when doctors examined him he was found dead.
