QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has said that there will be no compromise on good governance and basic facilities such as better health and education will be provided to the people of the province wihtout any discrimination.

“My government is committed to providing all basic amenities to the people and steps are being taken in this regard,” he said while talking to members of a delegation of people belonging to Zehri tehsil on Sunday.

The delegation was led by Khuzdar District Council chairman Agha Shakeel Durrani.

The chief minister said that he had made a speech on the occasion of Shuhada-i-Zehri in which he had said that Pakistan was a wonderful country and its people enjoyed complete freedom.

“Similarly, the people of Balochistan are enjoying complete freedom they want and it is rare in most countries of the region,” Nawab Zehri said, adding that “we can move anywhere as there is no restriction on our movement”.

Mr Zehri further said that the Federation was providing all facilities to the people of Balochistan and under the 18th Constitution Amendment “our resources are in our own control and hands”. However, he said, some elements were still opposing peace efforts in Balochistan and wanted to disturb peace.
