KARACHI: Phone connections restored

KARACHI, Nov 25: The PTCL has claimed to have restored 4,000 telephone connections, which went out of order in New Karachi on Sunday night.

The spokesman for PTCL said that unidentified persons had set on fire the underground cable of New Karachi Telephone Exchange on the night between Sunday and Monday.

He said that the cable was repaired on Tuesday afternoon. The affected areas of New Karachi included sectors 15/A-5, A-4, A-3, 15-B, 16-B, 16/A, 11-H, and 11-E. —APP
