HYDERABAD, Nov 25: The Sindh governor has asked Dr Bashir Ahmad Chandio to continue as the Sindh Agriculture University vice-chancellor till further orders, said a notification issued on Nov 25.

SU: The University of Sindh on Tuesday notified that the second merit list for admission to bachelor’s classes had been displayed at notice boards of the Sindh University Model School, Hyderabad, and the directorate of admissions in Jamshoro.

The director, admissions, further announced that the list of candidates for admission to bachelor’s classes on the basis of quota had also been released.

The last date for submitting objections against admissions has been fixed at Dec 3.

The lists have also been displayed at the university website, www.usindh.edu.pk

HOSTEL: The provost of hostels, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, on Tuesday directed students of batch-4 to fill hostel accommodation forms till Dec 13. The forms will be issued from Dec 1 and the list of hostel allotment will be displayed on Dec 18.

RESULT: The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology on Tuesday announced the result of BA architecture (1998 batch), second term, final year, examinations.

The university authorities said students would not be issued with pass/marks certificates till they produced copies of enrolment cards and clearance and marks certificates of all terms.
