KASUR: A man was killed reportedly over love marriage in the limits of the Saddar police station.

According to police, Rahbat Khan of Mohmand Agency had contracted love marriage with Jaiza Khan of his area some three years back against the wish of her family.

The couple shifted to Kasur and a son was born to them.

Rahbat started selling sunglasses and caps near New Bus Terminal on Ferozepur Road. On Tuesday, two unidentified men came to his stall and shot him dead.

KILLED: A woman was shot dead allegedly by three men for resisting harassment at village Matta.

She was identified as Sughran Bibi. According to the FIR registered by Sughran’s husband Ghulam Haider, suspects Imran, Ehsan and Manzoor, used to sexually harass Sughran.

On Tuesday, she exchanged words with the suspects.

This annoyed the suspects. They forced their entry into the Bibi’s house and shot her dead.
