Second crown for Aisam

LAHORE, Nov 24: Pakistan’s Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi won the second consecutive International Future tennis title in two weeks when he defeated Nick Crawley of Great Britain in the final 6-1, 7-5 at Dehra Dun, India, according to a message received on Monday.

Last week Aisam claimed crown in Thailand.

Aisam won the toss and opened his account with two aces to take 1-0 lead. Crawley was able to secure only one service game in this set and was broken twice by Aisam who went on to win 6-1.

Earlier, in the semifinals Aisam defeated Uzbekistan’s Davis Cupper Dimitry Mazur 6-2, 6-3 and in quarterfinals he destroyed India’s future hope Tusher Libihant 6-3, 6-4. Aaisam’s next assignment is in New Dehli.
