10 Pakistanis nabbed in Poland

WARSAW, Nov 24: Polish border guards nabbed 10 Pakistanis and two Indian illegal immigrants on Monday when they were heading towards Germany, a border guard spokesman said.

The Asians were found in a van belonging to a Polish couple, spokesman Andrzej Kulesza was quoted as saying by the PAP news agency.

Groups of illegal immigrants from Asia are regularly caught in Poland, either near the border with Germany, or at the Poland’s eastern border.—AFP
