KARACHI, Nov 24: Four ships carrying coal, general cargo and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was slow where only two ships, Ocean Genius to unload and load containers and Mary Ann to offload high speed diesel were berthed after the departure of six.

The ships, which departed included Kota Tegap, Mercs Sajinda, Thor Simba, Lady East, Sprinter and Commo-Jc-Jimenez, while Gizan Glory, Mary Ann, Nord Vikking, Nur Yanbu, Iwato, Min He and Banglar Robi are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 88,084 tons comprising 3,854 tons of export cargo and 84,230 tons of import tonnage including 48,666 tons of oils was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Bunga Kanari, MOI Silver Fern, with containers, Aisras, with 24,109 tons of coal and Aeolian Sky, with general cargo.
