Pak Gym reach another final

KARACHI, Nov 23: Pak Gymkhana reached another final in the Ramazan tournaments being played all over the city, brushing aside Al Noor Gymkhana by a handsome margin of eight wickets at the Aga Khan Gymkhana ground on Sunday.

After winning the toss and batting first, Al Noor Gymkhana hit up 163 runs for the loss of six wickets in 25 overs with M. Salman Ahmed leading the way with a smashing knock of 71 runs, belting four boundaries and two sixes. Aatif Raza chipped in with 48 runs, studded with a couple of fours. Aatif Maqbool bagged two wickets for 34 runs for the fielding side.

With Mehmood Hamid unbeaten with a glorious knock of 71, aided with five boundaries and two sixes and an equally entertaining knock of 65 runs not out coming from the blade of Afsar Nawaz, thumping five boundaries and three sixes, Pak Gymkhana raced to victory reaching 166 for the loss of two wickets in 20.4 overs.
