LAHORE: The Pakistan Badminton Federation announced a four-member team on Monday to take part in the SCG Badminton Asia Junior Championships to be held in Bangkok from July 9 to 17.

The team was selected after two-day trials held at the New Khan Badminton Hall.

From Punjab, Shahmeer Iftikhar, Shehroz Jamil and Ahmer Jalal while Zohaib Khan Khalil from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will represent the country in singles and doubles events. A training camp will be organised for the players before the tournament.

Meanwhile, the PBF will also hold national junior and senior championships next month.
