SOME grave irregularities are being committed by Islamabad’s Radio Pakistan management against daily-wage employees. They work just as hard as other staff members, but they are greatly handicapped because of the late payment of their wages. Their wages are not paid till the middle of the following month and in some cases, even later.

I am a daily-wage worker and it is becoming more and more difficult for me to work here. Why are my wages being stalled without any justification by the management? Most of the workers have families and they can’t put food on their table when their wages are not paid.

I hope the authorities concerned look into the matter on an urgent basis.
