KARACHI, Nov 21: The complaint cell at the Chief Minister’s House on Thursday received 76 complaints, registered by the people seeking relief, and redressed 51 out of these.

On Thursday, the cell received 50 complaints pertaining to telephones from New Karachi, North Nazimabad, FB Area, Gulberg, Malir Gulistan-i-Jauhar, Defence, Saddar and Jodia Bazar.

Out of these complaints, action was taken on 38, while the rest were being processed, the sources said.

The cell received 10 complaints pertaining to power suspension from North Karachi, Nazimabad and Shahrah-e-Faisal, of which, eight were responded to immediately, they said.

Eleven complaints were received about meat and bread overcharging from Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, FB Area, Buffer Zone, MA Jinnah Road and Gulistan-i-Jauhar, and the authorities concerned were asked to redress the same. —APP
