KARACHI, Nov 21: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi on Friday announced result of Higher Secondary School Information Technology Part-II (regular candidates of all groups) annual examination-2003.

According to statistics, 4,053 candidates appeared in the exam, out of which 2,500 passed the exam and the pass percentage remained 62.

In pre-engineering, 1,200 candidates appeared, out of which 751 were declared successful and the pass percentage was 63.

In pre-medical,948 students appeared in the exam. Of them, 711 succeeded and the percentage was 75.

Similarly, in humanities, 933 candidates appeared in the exam, out of which 457 could get through the exam and the pass percentage was 46.

In commerce regular, 912 candidates appeared. Of which 581 were declared successful and the pass percentage was 64.

A BIEK announcement said that certificates will be issued after three weeks of the declaration of the results.—PPI/APP
