HYDERABAD: SU position holders

HYDERABAD, Nov 20: The controller of examinations, University of Sindh, has announced the names of candidates who secured positions in various disciplines in the semester examinations of 2002.

In MSc (Hons) Final Mathematics, Saima, daughter of Dilshad Bhatti; Syeda Gul-i-Zohra, daughter of Syed Anwar Hussain Zaidi; and Faraz Ahmed, son of Rafiq Ahmed; secured first, second and third positions respectively.

Sahar Fatima, daughter of Abdul Ghaffar Siddiqi; Humera, daughter of Mohammad Saleem Akhtar Shaikh; and Hira Zia, daughter of Syed Zia Ahmed; clinched first, second and third positions respectively in MSc (Hons) Final Physics.

Mohsin, son of Sarwar Ali Kalhoro; Tania Tariq, daughter of Tariq Hussain Minhas; and Tariq Aziz, son of Ghulam Nabi Khoso; obtained first, second and third positions respectively in MSc (Hons) Final Freshwater Biology.

In MSc (Hons) Final Psychology, Najamul Hassan, son of Niaz Hussain Abbasi; Mushtaq Ali, son of Shafi Mohammad Channa; and Imtiaz Ali, son of Mohammad Qasim Mangi; clinched first, second and third positions respectively.

Sadia Munir, daughter of Mohammad Aslam Munir Arain; Mohammad Asif, son of Asghar Ali Arain; and Noorul Ain, daughter of Sikandar Ali Shah Bukhari; secured first, second and third positions respectively in MSc (Hons) Final Botany.

Shaista, daughter of Nizamuddin Qureshi, got first position in MSc (Hons) Final Statistics. Names of other position holders would be announced later.

Nadia Parveen, daughter of Abdul Ghafar Larik; Almas Jabeen; and Nosheen Agha, daughter of Agha Noor Nabi Pathan; secured first, second and third positions respectively in MSc (Hons) Final Microbiology.

In MSc (Hons) Final Chemistry, Ghulam Zohra, daughter of Haji Ibrahim Memon, obtained first position while Nizamuddin, son of Allahdino Abbasi, was placed third. The second position would be announced later.

In MA (Hons) Philosophy, Muzaffar Ali, son of Mohammad Yousuf Keerio, secured first position.

Asif Ali, son of Mushtaq Ali Soomro, got first position in MA (Hons) Final International Relations while Mohammad Ashraf Solangi was placed third. Announcement of the second position remains pending.

In MA (Pass) Final International Relations, Mohammad Shahban, son of Ali Mohammad Sahito, and Quwat Jan, son of Momin Shah, secured first and second positions respectively.

Ambreen, daughter of Mohammad Shaikh; Ishrat, daughter of Niaz Hussain; and Komal Ansari, daughter of Imtiaz Hussain Ansari; got first, second and third positions respectively in MA (Hons) Final English.

In MA (Pass) Final English, Saleen Raza, son of Mohammad Aslam Mirani; Huma, daughter of Iqbal Sadiq Mirza; and Asif Ali Korejo, son of Mohammad Paryal Korejo; obtained first, second and third positions respectively.—APP
