KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19: Jordan booked their spot at the 2004 Asian Cup with a flattering 3-0 win at home to North Korea on Tuesday.

Mahmoud Shelbaeih put Jordan ahead with a cheeky back heel in the seventh minute and late goals from substitutes Haitham Al-Shboul and Anas Zboun sealed victory for the Group D leaders. Jordan have 12 points from five matches, leaving Iran and Lebanon to scrap it out for the second qualifying berth.

Iran have six points from three games with Lebanon on four points having played one more game. The two teams meet in a crunch match in Beirut later on Wednesday.—Reuters
