KARACHI, Nov 18: Dashing knocks by Waqar Kundi (62) and Babar Hussain (52), enabled Late Ismail Jafar CC reach the semifinals of the First Ramazan Super Cup, getting the better of Godhra XI Star by 60 runs at the Students Sports ground on Tuesday.

Winning the toss and batting first, Late Ismail Jafar CC raced to 174 for the loss of three wickets in 25 overs. .

Needing 175 runs for victory, Godhra XI Star were never in the hunt and were restricted to 114 for the loss of nine wickets in their 25 allotted overs. Arif was the top scorer with 25. Iftikhar Ali three for six, Nasir Hussain two for nine and Munawar Hussain two for 20 caused the damage.
