SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 17: Unidentified bandits looted two houses and snatched a tractor-trolley, a car, a motorcycle in seven strikes in different parts of the district during the last 24 hours.
Rana Liaquat Ali of Manga Dogran was going to the market to sell his paddy crop by his tractor-trolley. Near the railway crossing, four armed robbers intercepted him and snatched his vehicle laden with crop worth around Rs100,000.
Safdarabad police are looking into the matter.

In Bhaghanwali village, two unidentified masked robbers relieved Anjum of his motorcycle and also thrashed him on resistance.

Woman killed: A woman was killed while four others sustained injuries when a speeding truck hit a motorcycle rickshaw on the GT Road here on Monday.
The truck collided head-on with the three-wheeler when it reached the Muridke Road. Rehmat Bibi died on the spot while four other passengers suffered serious injuries.
