QUETTA, Nov 17: A Baloch-istan High Court division bench has directed the SHO of Gwalmandhi police station to record fresh statement in the FIR filed by Ganji Bibi alleging that some staff members of the Edhi welfare centre, Quetta, had raped her.

Police was reluctant to take action against the persons nominated in the report.

The bench, comprising Justice Ahmed Khan Lashari and Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani, here on Monday directed the police official, who was present in the court, to record the statement.

The SHO told the court that fresh statement would recorded in the light of amended FIR.—Correspondent
