HYDERABAD, Nov 15: Parents-Teachers Action Committee chairman Hafiz Matloob Ahmad Chishti has criticized the government for posting assistant district education officers at remote areas of Dadu and Ghorabari but not filling 15 vacant posts of headmasters in the Hyderabad city.

He was speaking at an Iftar party here on Friday.

Mr Chishti also criticized the posting of former DO, Hyderabad, Apa Rehmat Qazi, as headmistress of the Noor Mohammad High School, saying she should have been posted as the EDO.

He said it was an irony that grade-19 officers were working on posts of grade-20 whereas grade-20 officers were working under them.

He appealed to the president, prime minister, Sindh chief minister and the education minister to resolve the issue.
