KARACHI, Nov 11: Seven ships carrying containers, DAP fertilizer and general cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Katsina to unload and load containers, Chemstar Princess and Chemical Supplier to load molasses.

Sailing on the other hand was active as six ships departed. They are: Izumo, Sues-1, Global Prosperity, Darya Laskhmi, Gemini-1 and Taraman Bibi, while Katsina, Kota Wangi, Orient Stride, Chemstar Princess, Chemical Supplier are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was moderate totalling 51,606 tons comprising 24,569 tons of export cargo and 27,037 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: S.Caboto, Hyundai Stride, Ocean Luna, Corin Thaikos and Hammurabi, with containers, Nord Viking, with 41,700 tons of DAP fertilizer, Axion-1 Thir and Mette, with general cargo.
