SHIKARPUR: Loadshedding gos on

Published November 11, 2003

SHIKARPUR, Nov 10: Contrary to the Hesco authorities’ claim of no load-shedding during Ramazan, the city residents continue to face unannounced load-shedding for long hours.

The loadshedding is adversely affecting business activities besides creating hardships for the people.

The Hesco authorities have failed to ensure regular supply of electricity to consumers who have expressed deep concern over the practice of load-shedding and termed it an act of inefficiency and negligence on the part of the Hesco officials.

Routine activities in bazaars, business establishments, and offices continue to suffer from erratic power supply.

The people have appealed to the chairman, Wapda, and the chief executive, Hesco, to take immediate notice of the matter and direct the relevant authorities to refrain from load- shedding, particularly in Ramazan.
